This weekend we had the occasion to spend a lot of time with my niece (almost 5 years old), so Kate stories will be the feature on the blog this week.
Saturday night we were at dinner at Dave and Busters (ala Bop and Papa) and the kids had spent the day together at the splash park. Kate was taking a particular liking to Adam Jr. at dinner as they were making faces in the mirror together and discussing their mutual love for pasta with butter. She looked over at him at one point and announced, "Adam when I get older I am going to MARRY you!" Adam's response was swift and to the point. He rolled his eyes at me and replied, "Kate, I will already be married by the time you grow up!"
Sorry Kate, no chance of marrying your loving cousin with that two year age gap, he has no intention of waiting around for you.
