Another one bites the dust...

Ok, so I am either really amused, or considering therapy for Laney (and it oscillates between the two). We were driving home on Thursday and I told them that Daddy had recorded Rudolph for us to watch as a family that evening. There were cheers of excitement!! We were going to watch it 'like a family' and we were all going to have a good time, darn it.

To which Adam Jr. say, "Rudolph is kind of like Bambi right?" And without missing a beat Laney replies, "Yes, except in Bambi, Bambi's mom gets killed."

Flock or was it Fox?

On Sunday I was the only one home with the kiddos and I was in the kitchen. I hear TJ in the living room shouting over and over (at some one's obvious prompting) "F**k, F**K, F**K!" And they all laugh hysterically.

I immediately enter stage left, and DEMAND to know who taught him that word. Adam Jr. fesses up, sort of, and states, "I told him to say FLOCK. FLOCK Jen, not the other word."

"WHAT!" I exclaimed, "Why would you possibly be teaching him the word flock? When have you EVER used that in conversation? Do you even know what a flock is?"

He was getting all teared up now, he knew I was really upset and then he replied as he stomped up the steps to his room (without prompting), "Maybe it was FOX, maybe I asked him to say the word FOX. I know what a FOX is!!"
