Old McDonald had a farm...

Today in the car TJ was getting fussy, so I asked, "TJ, you want to sing?" He responded, "Yes mommy." So I continued, "What do you want to sing TJ?" Honestly, I expected no response, I do this talking to myself thing with TJ around quite often. I have entire conversations as myself and TJ. However, he is getting bigger, and my role performing TJ's half of the conversation is diminishing. So to my surprise he responded, "EIEO!" "What?" "EIEO!" Oh...yes, Old McDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O!

Back to the animal noises for us!

TJ stories...from the weekend

So, I really missed the older kiddos this weekend, and it was Adam Jr's b-day too. But we will celebrate this weekend. However, TJ and I had lots of TJ and mommy time this weekend.

On Saturday Daddy had to help Aunt Kimmy and Uncle Ben move, so TJ and I got to take lunch out to Bop (Grandma Nancy) for her BIG birthday! That was after TJ tried to run and hide from me at the DMV that morning (and the DMV is always so much fun on its own without me chasing my toddler around and losing my place in line). We then went to the toy store to buy some b-day presents. TJ does not yet realize that he could actually take any of the toys home though, so he is a blast in the store. He plays with everything and then waves and calls bye-bye as we move to the next isle. He thinks the toy store is like a "zoo," just for us to look at and enjoy and then leave behind. Then we went home and BOTH napped.

On Sunday, TJ and I went to the actual Zoo for a morning walk. We saw lots of animals and they were all super active. He likes to make all the animal sounds so he had a blast. Snakes, "Sssss" Monkeys, "OOH OOH AHH AHH" and best of all, the Tigers, which were climbing all around. The tiger then laid on its back, and I said, "TJ the tiger is showing you his belly!" To which TJ responded by lifting his own shirt high in the air to bare his belly and shouting, "ROOAR!!!" Needless to say, he was a hit at the zoo.
