base...ball.

So, TJ needed a nap yesterday. REALLY needed a nap. He and his daddy were watching the Reds game and I said, "TJ, nap time buddy!" In my best, 'won't this be fun?' voice. He looked up at me a replied, "No nap mommy." I tried coaxing him again walking towards the steps. He replied gesturing towards the TV where the Reds were playing the Cardinals, "NO! No nap mommy, baseball!"

My husband smiled proudly.

TJ not nice

Yesterday was a tough day. On Saturday nights/Sunday morning TJ was up from 1:30-6:30am. We tried everything, and really still don't know what the problem was besides teething. But you know that point...when you just lose it because you are so tired you might sell your child for 30 minutes of sleep...that is where I was. Adam said he knew it, he overheard me.

I had been patting TJs back for about 20 minutes, 5 minutes past any movement, just to be sure he was sleeping. Then I backed slowly out of the room...one step at a time. And he jumped up. And jumped and screamed and jumped and screamed. Then I almost screamed, but instead I grabbed him up out of his crib and headed downstairs after several hours of attempting to calm him. As we hit the steps, I said, loudly enough for my husband to begin to worry about my sanity, "TJ you are not being nice. Do you hear me, TJ NOT NICE!"

After a little rest the last couple of days...we are doing much better!
