So, Adam has been out of work, laid off, since February. He got a new job last week and started today. We are so excited and proud of him. He also passed his journeyman's test the week before, and he is finishing up school next Monday, so we have had lots of good news lately. He was excitedly telling the kids on Saturday about his new job. As part of this, his new hours will not allow him to keep working part time at the neighborhood bar, so he is giving up his Friday 4pm-8pm shift. He told the kids, "So this means I will be home on Friday nights with all of you." "YEAH! YIPEE!" Shouts of joy erupt from the back seat. Then Ashley clarifies, "That is great Daddy! Now you don't have to miss all the fun anymore!" "Yeah," Adam Jr. chimes in, "You were missing ALL the fun. Now we can have fun like a family!"
Who knew that we were having so much fun between 4pm-8pm on Fridays, but apparently we were. Here's to all the FAMILY FUN we are going to be having now!
