Telling Time

Ashley and I were in car on way to cheer leading yesterday, practice was at 6:15pm. We have been working on Ash telling time. She looks at digital clock in car and says, its 6:20. I look at her sideways wondering what she could be talking about, it is clearly 6:04pm I am NOT late yet. Then she says, "Oh no, its 6:25, that was quick." I looked at clock and it clearly said 6:05pm. Again, still not late. I asked how she could think it was 6:25 and she replied, you said when it was on the 4 its 20 minutes after and when it was on the 5 its 25 minutes after. The minutes are going really quick on this clock. Oh...we spent so much effort on traditional time telling, we forgot to teach her how to read digital time...who knew that would be the challenge.
