We have been to the zoo many times before. In fact, several times each year. Usually we purchase a pass. However, daddy and mommy are quite frugal (not cheap, but just frugal) and so we have never allowed the kids to ride the rides, yet when my parents would come once a year the kids were allowed. So you can see it was easy for me to convince the kids that you were only allowed to ride the rides when your grandparents were with you. This year, we sprang for the all inclusive pass, included unlimited rides. You can see that fun was had by all.

However, it wasn't until after the train ride that I realized, I am not sure the kids realized this ride rule was just for them. They seemed truly amazed that we could ride all the rides even without our grandparents being there. "Even without grandpa Tom?" little Adam inquired. Yes, the train will run with you on it, even without grandpa Tom!

The boys had a great day along with the girls, seeing the animals AND riding the rides.

But by the end,
TJ was wiped out. And mommy realized based on this photo, that those sunglasses are not a good look for her. So...all in all a great outing!
Good job on revistiting the sunglass look!
